sup y'all, just going to put a little bit up about our thoughts into album covers, one of the ancillary tasks we have done and why we have made it the way we have. So I'm looking at an indie-pop group called 'Does It Offend You, Yeah?' Toured with Enter shikari and i like them, so relevant enough to analyse IMHO (in my humble opinion).

So as you can see the background is just plain back, easy to work with any colours (which this logo has ALOT of) and is modest, yet proffesional. It also gives me a connotation of omniscience and mystery, curious to find out what sort of music it is, especially with such an exotic choice of typograohy and colour. Again with each word we can see a different texture effect applied to each word, one that particulary stands out for me is the 'Does it'. The crystalised effect cleary looks sweet, and in contrast to 'offend' looks fantastic as there is a diverse range of forms this title is creating, maybe reaching out to a larger target audience? the white lined black outlining looks striking as it looks like its been painted on, and as i have said before, the use of white on black or black on white is simple yet very effective. Not much more i can say on that as it is pretty basic, but on the whole looks great!
