While Elliot is focussing on a storyboard jebosh have come on for another awesome installment

We are considering filming most of the 2 mins on the train, just at will (hopefully)

this means we don't have to ask alot of permission, as we would on the tube.

for a voice over we are looking for two male characters, possible a female occupying one of those two slots.. so give a comment on this post if your interested and want to get involoved.

we also want someone to play the voiceover of the cannibal, preferably well spoken, and british, Anthony hopkins likee!

Change of plan..

In this Mid-Media post, we are writing about the fact of losing the option to use the stalker theme within our piece, which is really annoying becuase it scrambles our whole plan.

HOWEVER after speaking with Miss Mann, we have decided to use something a little less cliche-d, a pyschological thriller involving a cannibal (escaped?) This still allows us to use our candiate actors, becuase stalker and cannibals arent all that different, and we are still going to film in London. If everyone still wants to.

You may be wondering how we will get a strong psychological scene in two minutes, which is the time our final piece has to be. Well, we asked ourselves the same question. A quick bullet point sesh will tell you some ideas.

• suit and briefcase
• appointment
• cannibal *nom nom*
• sound F ecks
• inner thoughts of the cannibal

In terms of the voiceover, we were thinking of using a doctor figure and a psychologist figure discussing the cannibal. Also theinner thought s of the cannibal, and their problems and disorders.

One of those juicy nuggets..

I've had a look at the train times, but we still need to consider the time we will leave, seeing as its getting dark by 4. I think The best time to go would be the 12th of January, as we only have 2 lessons that day (Monday) so we don't miss out too much. Also its the second week back at school so can get everything sorted before we go, PLUS - we would of finshed our January exams.

Yeh, if josh would get the train times sorted out, and me n Ell will....do some other media stuff(?). kinnda gay that we cant film before christmas, but its a good point, it gives us alot of time which we do need.

Update on ideas

Herro, Josh here.

After alot of work in media yesterday we have decided to name our production 'Clean Slate'. For the titles, we were thinking of using slate and chalk in a stop-motion like sense to relate back to the title itself.

Bit annoyed because our planning won't be complete before the last monday of school, which was our target of going to London. Though I guess its better than rushing it and get some pretty unorganised and, to put it blandly, crap footage.

I put some costume ideas together aswell. Basing it on two characters, A male stalker, and a female victim.

Jeb put foward that the stalker could be disfigured, another enigma to think about.

ummm, we also thoguth of a storyboard, but it does rely on us doing it in London.

I'm ill today, which means i can spend more time looking at train tickets!(NO! I am not just saying that!) 'cause Mr M said i could get tickets for 6.50! STEAL!

Yeah, thats all i think of at the moment, it is only 9. 20!
